FaviconOnline.org started because we got tired of favicon generators that upload your images to servers, track your activity, or charge subscription fees. We built something better: 4 tools that run entirely in your browser using JavaScript and the Canvas API. Your images never leave your device. Everything is free, fast, and private.
Why We Built This
Most favicon generators upload your logo to their servers, which raises privacy concerns—especially for unreleased products or client work. We wanted a tool that processes everything locally in your browser. No server uploads, no data collection, no tracking pixels. Just pure client-side processing using modern web APIs. You can even use our tools offline once the page loads.
Privacy First
We don't see your images. We don't store them. We don't track what you create. All 4 tools (Image Converter, Text Generator, Emoji tool, Logo Creator) run 100% in your browser. When you upload an image or enter text, it's processed on your device using the Canvas API. Nothing gets sent to our servers. We use minimal analytics (Google Analytics) to see which tools are popular, but we don't collect personal data.

How It Works
All tools use the HTML5 Canvas API to process images in your browser. When you upload a file, JavaScript reads it, resizes it to 31 different sizes (16×16 to 512×512), and packages everything into a ZIP file—all without touching our servers. The site is built with Next.js 14, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. It's fast, mobile-friendly, and works on all modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
