By using FaviconOnline.org, you agree to these terms. We've written them in plain English so you know exactly what you're agreeing to. If you don't agree, please don't use our tools.

1. What This Service Does

FaviconOnline.org provides four free browser-based tools for creating favicons: an Image Converter (turns images into favicons), a Text Generator (creates favicons from text with custom fonts), an Emoji tool (converts emojis to favicons), and a Logo Creator (designs text logos with gradients). All tools run in your browser using JavaScript. Nothing gets uploaded to our servers. You can use these tools to generate favicon packages for personal or commercial projects. We don't charge fees, require accounts, or limit usage.

2. Your Responsibilities

You're responsible for the content you create. If you upload an image, make sure you have the rights to use it. Don't upload copyrighted logos, trademarked images, or photos you don't own. If you use the Text Generator or Logo Creator, check that the Google Font you selected allows commercial use (most do—they're open source under the SIL Open Font License). If you use the Emoji tool, note that Twemoji emojis are licensed under CC-BY 4.0, which allows commercial use with attribution. You agree not to use our tools for illegal purposes, to create offensive or harmful content, or to attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload our servers.

3. Ownership of Generated Content

You own the favicons you create. We don't claim any rights to your generated files. Once you download a favicon package, it's yours to use however you like—personal projects, commercial websites, client work, products, etc. However, you're responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any source material (images, fonts, text) you use. We provide the tools, but we can't verify that you own the content you upload. If someone claims your favicon infringes their copyright, that's between you and them—we're not involved.

4. No Warranties

We provide these tools as-is without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that the tools will work perfectly 100% of the time, that generated favicons will display correctly in every browser, or that the website will be available 24/7 without downtime. We do our best to keep everything running smoothly, but bugs happen, browsers change, and servers occasionally go down. If a generated favicon doesn't work as expected, you can contact us and we'll try to help, but we can't promise a fix.

5. Limitation of Liability

We're not liable for any damages resulting from your use of this website. This includes direct damages (like lost time if the tool crashes), indirect damages (like lost revenue if a favicon doesn't display), or consequential damages (like reputational harm if a favicon looks bad). The tools are free, so you're not paying for guaranteed results. Use them at your own risk. If you need mission-critical favicons with guaranteed uptime and support, consider hiring a professional designer or using paid software.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms occasionally to reflect changes in our tools, legal requirements, or business practices. If we make significant changes, we'll update the Last Updated date at the top of this page. We won't email you about changes because we don't collect email addresses (unless you contact us). It's your responsibility to check this page periodically. Continued use of the tools after changes means you accept the new terms. If you don't agree with the changes, stop using the tools.
